Beach Sweet Hearts
It's time for my Scrapper's Delights Mid Inspirational Design Team card. It's almost Summer here in Florida, it kind of seems to be skipping Spring and I'm not at all sure, if we even had a winter! So in honor of Summer 2016, here are the Beach Sweet Hearts, a Scrapper's Delights image. The lovely blue cloudy sky is another Scrapper's Delights product...Natures Little Wonders Paper Pack.
The cute couple on the bench was colored using Faber-Castell Polychromos. The colored image and the sky paper were placed in the Craft Artist 2 program and merged with other background pieces from the Craft Scapes Summer Seaside digikit and along with some text.
The scene was printed twice. I cut the Beach Sweet Hearts colored image out and used soft pads to adhere it to the top of the scene.
I'm looking forward to seeing some new challenge entries at Scrapper's Delights.

Chaplin Bookmark
I chose to use Charlie Chaplin B44, part of the Cinema Collection, for my Design Team inspirational bookmark. I colored him with Faber-Castell Polychromos Pencils and Prismacolor Blender. I cut him out and made a background bookmark from bits and pieces of left over Graph 45, Curtain Call scrap book paper. I adhered the colored image to the bookmark.
This original layered bookmark was then scanned, printed, and laminated. The final step was to punch a hole at the top and embellish with ribbon.
I hope you're inspired by my Charlie Chaplin bookmark and enter your own project in the Mari Digi Challenge, where anything goes.

Lips: RV34
Hair: E13, E15, E18
Dress: R81, R83, R85
I hope you are enjoying my practice pieces. Come back again soon.

Falling for Chocolate!
I colored this cute image with Copic Markers and placed it in the Craft artist 2 program, where I merged it with 1-2 of the CU - Paper pack. I printed the scene and printed a second Strawberry Baby. I cute this one out and applied soft pads to adhere it to the top of the scenic Strawberry.
There are several Fruity Babies and all are adorable. The CU - Paper Pack is wonderful, as backgrounds for many different images. I'm looking forward to seeing other examples of these being used in the current challenge at Scrapper's Delights.

Ankle Deep
It's time for some new releases at Digistamps4joy. There are so many beautiful ones, it's too hard to choose, but in the end, it was Ankle Deep, which won me over. When you live 7 miles from the beach, Salt Life gets in your blood!
For my Design Team inspirational card, I put Ankle Deep in the Craft artist 2 program and merged the PNG image with a scene from the Natural Landscapes digikit and a couple of items from the CS Summer Seaside digikit. After printing the scene I colored it using Prismacolor Pencils.
Check out the new digis at Digistamps4joy. You will want to pick one for the next challenge you plan to enter.

Ribbon/Tag
I am enjoying working with the Digistamps4Joy Design Team. For the current challenge, I chose Art Deco Beauty, a lovely butterfly for my inspirational project. The theme of this challenge is anything goes with the option of adding a ribbon.
I colored the butterfly using Derwent Inktense Pencils. I cut out the image leaving a white edge and adhered sticky pearls to the wings.
The tag was cut twice using the Graphic 45 Secret Garden paper stack. One tag was cut at 7" and the other at 7 1/2". I cut the tag on top of the smaller tag, so it goes straight across. The 2 tags were layered and the butterfly was partially glued on top. Small punched butterflies were added along with a yellow ribbon bow and a green ribbon loop.
I hope you will join us in the challenge at Digistamps4Joy, where the theme is anything goes and the twist is to add a ribbon.
