This card with Reggie Swing is my project for this month's Creative Lady Birds Creations Design Team. The digital stamp is from Lacy Sunshine, one of our sponsors.

Isn't Reggie sweet taking in the wonderful breeze on his swing? He is colored with Prismacolor Pencils and Odorless Mineral Spirits. The trees and bits and pieces of the background were taken from various digikits and combined with the image in Craft Artist 2.

I hope, I have inspired you to enter this challenge, as always anything goes.

Puff of Magic

Puff of Magic

Rosey Hearts
Here I am again with my first card as a member of a new design team. Be Crafty and Craft is a new challenge blog with opportunities to win some free digital images. Rosey Hearts is our current sponsor and Puff of Magic was my choice to use for this card. She was colored with Prismacolor Pencils and I used odorless mineral spirits in several place to blend the colors on the fairy. I used a metallic pen to fill in the star. She was merged in Craft Artist 2 with parts from several digikits.

Here is another version of Puff of Magic with a My Craft Studio background, also merged in the Craft Artist 2 program:

Dog Gone Cute!

Grace and Alfie
http://www.justinklined.com/

School or Bust
Deedee's Digis
Let me introduce to you Grace and Alfie an image stamp designed by Just Inklined. It was a delight to use my skills with Prismacolor Pencils to work on this image for the design team at Crafting from the Heart. I added a bit of gold metallic with a Gelly Roll pen and put the image in the foreground of the Playground digikit merging them in the Craft Artist 2 program.

I had fun making a second for today's challenge. It was made with "School or Bust," by Deedee's Digis. Here again I used my favorite Prismacolor Pencils to color the bus and I cut it out and layered it on a variety of craftpapers from the "An ABC Primer Collection," by Graphic 45.

I do hope you will join us in the challenge over at Crafting from the Heart, as always it's "Anything Goes." Sponsored by both Deedee's Digis and Just Inklined .

Come again and see my next creation!

Building Sand Castles

A day for daisies
"Boy at the Beach" is the perfect stamp for someone who lives seven miles from the beach. It is designed by A Day for Daisies, today's sponsor for Simply Papercraft. I used Inktense Pencils for most of this busy boy, but for skin tones I used Prismacolor Pencils. The background is from the digikit Summer Seaside. The boy and the background were merged in the Craft Artist 2 program.

I look forward to seeing your work at Simply Papercraft, where challenges are your choice of either freestyle or by the suggested theme.

Come back again and see what I will do next.

A Kid's Room From Digital Stamps! I won!

Did you ever have a stamp that you knew would make a great scene, if you only had a background to tie it all together? Well, while searching the shop at "Scrapper's Delight," O came across the perfect base for designing a kid's room, with "Room 1a." 1a has a back wall down to a baseboard and tile like floor boards.

The stamp "I'll look after you," by Zuri is the central focus. The girls, bed, stool and night stand with lamp are all colored in Prismacolor Pencil with odorless mineral spirits.

The assorted furnishings were from the "Mother's Day 2011" digikit and the wallpaper was from the "Dream in Chalk" digikit.

What a way to decorate the kid's room...thank you "Scrapper's Delight."

Victorian Spring, Old St. Augustine

This is my first card as a member of the Simply Papercraft  Design Team.

Introducing Victorian Lizabeth in the Springtime by Lacy Sunshine Stamps.
As soon I saw her, it was love. I had wanted to use one of my husband's fabulous backgrounds and I have plenty to choose from. St. Augustine works beautifully. Lizabeth was colored in Prismacolor Pencils and then combined with my husband's color sketch of St. Augustine in the Craft Artist 2 program.

Although St. Augustine is the oldest continuously occupied European established settlement and port in the continental U.S., it was the Flagler era that Lizabeth is celebrating. It was Henry Flagler in the 1880s, who was the driving force that turned the city into a winter resort for the wealthy northern elite.

Moving forward to the 1990s, when my husband Sandy and I moved to Palm Coast just South of the Oldest City, Victorian Spring was a yearly event. Residents in Victorian finery strolled the city and special activities were scheduled throughout the weekend including early model cars, lawn games and popular foods of the vintage era. Of course I dressed up and Sandy enjoyed photographing the events.

I do hope you will join us over at  Simply Papercraft  for this Freestyle challenge. Sponsored by Lacy Sunshine Stamps.

This card was entered in the  http://lacysunshinechallengeblog.blogspot.com/ challenge!

Baby Bugs Love Pink!

Baby Bug
For great images

Baby Bug is a digital image stamp designed by Stitchy Bear. She is part of a set which included the large flowers, a butterfly plus various other bugs. Baby Bug and the flowers are colored in Prismacolor Pencils and on her costume I used odorless mineral spirits to blend the pinks. The background for this Simply Papercraft design team card is from the Playground digikit in Craft Artist 2, where the two were merged.

I do hope you will join us in the challenge over at Simply Papercraft as always it is 'Anything Goes'. Sponsored by Stitchy Bear.

I hope you enjoy the Baby Bug as I do and come back for another visit!

Daisy Elf an Adorable Card!

I used a digital stamp from Aurora Wings called Daisy Elf for this card. The image was colored first with Prismacolor Pencils and then followed up by Inktense Pencils and with water. I cut the images out twice and placed them on small dimensionals for the 3D effect and adhered them to the background on the card. The background paper is from Kaisercraft.

I am entering this card in the Aurora Wing Challenge.
