I watched a Youtube video of Karen Campbell working on a mixed media vintage collage and loved the entire idea. I decided to work on the Pin Up Girl with that super personality showing for the world to see!
So I drew my version of this girl and used Jane Davenport watercolors on Canson 140 lb cold press watercolor paper. I worked on blending her skin tones with Faber-Castell Gelatoes and Pitt Brush Pens. The highlights in this piece are from a Gelly Roll pen.
I enjoyed the challenge of blending skin tones on this girl and look forward to working on another pin up sometime!
